AURAN Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 11, 2026. This page describes the current release candidate. It must be reviewed and published at a stable HTTPS address before production or store submission.
Important summary
AURAN requires an account and verified sign-in in this candidate. Profile and training information is stored locally after sign-in; selected cloud features send data when used. Health and fitness guidance is educational and is not medical care.
Information AURAN handles
- Account: email address, account identifier and display name for authentication.
- Profile and fitness: goals, age range, training level, equipment, schedule, workouts, readiness and nutrition preferences.
- Health/accessibility text: optional self-reported conditions, symptoms, adaptations and clinician notes. In the current candidate, free-text health fields remain on the device unless a future, explicit sync choice says otherwise.
- Photos: progress photos remain on the device unless you explicitly choose an online review; only the selected photos are sent for that one request.
- Connected health data: this iOS candidate includes no Apple Health integration and cannot read Apple Health measurements.
- Social: circle display name, membership and consistency information. Private notes, photos and health text are not circle content.
- Diagnostics and feedback: feedback you submit, release/device class and minimal error context. Do not include passwords, medical records or other sensitive text.
- Measurement: product events used to measure activation and retention. Events sent during eligible synchronization are linked to the signed-in account through its user identifier. Analytics cannot grant credits, rewards or entitlements.
Why information is used
To authenticate you, generate and adapt plans, save completed activity, provide requested guidance, synchronize eligible records, operate circles, answer support feedback, prevent abuse and measure whether core features work. AURAN should not use health data for advertising.
Storage, providers and sharing
Local app data is stored in browser/app storage and sensitive local payloads use device-bound encryption where supported. Supabase is used for authentication and approved cloud records. Authentication email delivery and optional online AI providers process only the data necessary for the requested feature. Provider retention rules may apply. A final policy must identify every production provider and jurisdiction before launch.
Your choices
- Export a local JSON backup or workout CSV.
- Keep optional health, photo, advisor and notification sharing off.
- Leave a circle or stop using cloud features.
- Request permanent account deletion from Data & Privacy after the protected deletion service is enabled. Local data is removed only after server confirmation.
- Cancel store subscriptions separately through Apple or Google account settings.
Children, safety and retention
AURAN is intended for ages 16 and older. Users aged 16–17 should involve a parent or guardian for high-risk training, restrictive diets or supplements. The final production policy must define exact retention periods, deletion exceptions required by law and regional rights before launch.
